Strong for Life is a personal training company based in Phoenix, Arizona. Owned and operated by Kim Saari, a certified personal trainer and strength and conditioning coachStrong for Life is a small company that strives to provide high quality individual training in a private training facility. Helping individuals of all kinds to meet their goals and desires, Kim strives to keep her clients for a lifetime, as evidenced by clients that she has had for over 15 years. Focus is given to the individual, personal needs to enable them in leading a lifestyle of health and fitness, feeling the best they can every day of their lives! By incorporating lifestyle changes, including healthy eating and physical activity on a regular basis, individuals can go through life feeling good about themselves.

Clients range from 8 years old to 80+ years old. Fitness for children is for all kids, sports specific training for children competing and/or participating in sports of all kinds, to children who simply need to incorporate fitness into their lifestyle, including proper eating and nutrition. Adult training is from professional athletes of all different sports to housewives, senior citizens, anyone who understands the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

About Kim Saari

Kim Saari is a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach who resides and works in Phoenix, Arizona. Her company is based out of various locations throughout the Phoenix valley. Kim is certified through the IFPA, as well as the Ironbody training program and has over 30 years experience training clients. Kim herself has competed in various fitness competitions, ranging from marathons, triathlons, adventure races to figure, obstacle course and bodybuilding competitions. In 2001, Kim began competing in the INBF and in 2005, was awarded her pro card in the WNBF by winning the overall in the Best of the West Bodybuilding competition held in Phoenix, Arizona. Since that time, Kim has been competing as a professional NATURAL bodybuilder with the WNBF, which includes two Ms. Universe competitions held in the Cayman Islands. Kim is a current WNBF pro and is active in the WNBF with her pro card in bodybuilding, Fit Body, as well as figure divisions.

Grand Canyon training programs!

Beginning December, 2020, there will be 3 options of training programs for the beautiful Grand Canyon. 5 million people visit the Canyon each year, but only 1% of those actually hike to the bottom and back. If you want to become one of the few that can say they have done it, you will need training! Choose an option below to get started: 

 

Training enabling an individual to go down and up south rim

4 month program including hiking mileage and twice weekly strength training.  This program is a set program for everyone and is $50 per month. 





4 month program including hiking mileage and twice weekly strength training program.  This program is individualized according to your needs and will be adjusted as you proceed through your training.  This program is $100 per month. 





5 month training program for rim to rim.  This program will also begin in December and continue thru April, 2021.  The north rim does not open until May.  This program is $100 per month and program will be adjusted as the individual proceeds. 






Please note that all these hikes are not to be taken lightly.  You must train for the canyon and respect the hike.  If you have a fear of heights, please make sure this is a hike you will feel comfortable doing.  The trails are very well maintained and is a beautiful experience as long as a person is properly trained!!

Eight (8) 30 minute individual one on one personal training packages for $30 each (a $55 value). Total price of this package is $240. Sessions must be used within 4 weeks of first session.




Twelve (12) 30 minute individual one on one personal training packages for $28 each (a $55 value). Total price of this package is $336. Sessions must be used within 6 weeks of first session.




Sixteen (16) 30 minute individual one on one personal training packages for $26.50 each ( a $55 value). Total price of this package is $424. Sessions must be used with 8 weeks of first session.




Sixteen (16) one hour individual one on one personal training package for $65 per session (a $75 value) 2x per week for 2 months. Sessions must be used within 8 weeks of first session.




Twenty four (24) one hour individual one on one personal training package for $60 per session (a $75 value) 2x per week for 3 months. Sessions must be used within 12 weeks of first session.




Individual Personal Training Sessions (1 Hour and 30 Minute)  These sessions may or may not be one on one, depending on scheduling. An individual may be the only one being trained, or there may be a few others. Either way, each client is trained individually and according to their independent needs)
Cost: $75 for 1 Hour session




Cost: $55 for 30 Minute session




Stand Up Paddleboard

Lessons and rentals at Lake Pleasant. Includes stand up paddleboard 1 hour rental with 1 hour lesson.

Cost:$60 per hour





Design your own fitness class

Design your own type of class! Grab some friends and sign up for some classes designed around your own needs and desires.

With a minimum of 5 people, classes of all types can be scheduled, from cardiovascular, beach body workouts, lower body focus, core/midsection classes, whatever you want!

Cost: $30 per person (4 classes and 5 person minimum classes must be completed within 30 days)
